Baby Moo's Great Escape is here! To go along with the release, I am conducting a fundraiser for Sunrise Sanctuary, home of Baby Moo himself, in Marysville, Ohio. For each copy of the book sold in September I will donate $1 to the sanctuary.
If you're interested, pick up a copy of the book at Amazon or Barnes & Noble or anywhere copies are sold, and help me to help Baby Moo and all his friends! It doesn't matter if you buy a print copy or an ebook, each purchase will help the sanctuary. About the book: Baby Moo has a dream. He wants to travel the world and sing on the stage of the Sydney Opera House! While he loves his home at Sunrise Sanctuary, it hasn’t been the same since a piglet named Nathan showed up and stole all the attention away from Moo. Jealous of the new baby, Moo decides now is the time to make his escape and pursue his dream. But the world outside the sanctuary gates is not quite the fun and exciting place Moo imagined, and he quickly finds himself in big trouble. Moo's friends Missy the dog and Ruthie the cat rush to help him, and land in some trouble of their own. Lost and frightened, Moo and his friends must rely on each other to find their way back home. Will they ever see Sunrise again? Available now from Native Ink Press I am so excited to announce that my debut children's book will be published this fall by Native Ink Press. I could not be more thrilled by this opportunity! The book is called Baby Moo's Great Escape and features the animals of the wonderful Sunrise Sanctuary in Marysville, Ohio. The book will be for young readers, and I am working with a wonderful illustrator to bring Baby Moo and the rest of the animals to life. Baby Moo is a real resident of Sunrise, and he is such a handsome guy that he has superstar written all over him. Don't you agree? I can't wait to share more about the book as we move closer to its publication. Stay tuned!
I visited the Sunrise Animal Sanctuary on Saturday, April 11 and I was thrilled to have the opportunity to write about my visit for the April edition of the Blog the Change for Animals hop. This is my first post since becoming a member of the Be the Change for Animals team and I couldn't have asked for a better topic for my first contribution to the site. To read about my visit and the wonderful place that is Sunrise, please visit me at BTC4A here.
